Paul Molitor

President & CEO

Paul Molitor came to IDEA from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) in Rosslyn, Virginia. At NEMA, he was responsible for the association’s strategic initiatives, interfacing with electrical utilities, manufacturers, state and federal agencies, and the U.S. Congress on all aspects of the NEMA scope. Prior to NEMA, Paul had an established career in information technology and computer networking in both large and small company environments. During that time, he led projects like the creation of business internet services for, strategic computing programs for the Department of Defense, and operations planning for the WorldCom Data Concourse family of products.

Mike Wentz

Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Mike has more than 30 years of electrical industry and technology provider experience and has expertise in a variety of industries including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, industrial, medical, electronics, lighting, safety products, fasteners and food distribution. He has helped hundreds of distributors develop technology plans to increase sales, improve customer service, and decrease operating expenses. As Director of National Accounts for Epicor (Activant Solutions), he focused on identifying and developing partnerships between Epicor and targeted industry organizations. He also co-founded an early eBusiness venture that facilitated transaction cost reduction and information flow in the construction supply chain. Mike is active with NEMA, NAED, ALA, HARDI and ASA and has worked closely with industry marketing groups such as A-D, IMARK, Johnstone Supply Group, Blue Hawk and IMCO.

Maan Hashem

Vice President, Products & Services

Maan brings to IDEA more than 20 years' experience helping customers get business value from their technology investments and aligning product planning with customer success. He is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and by the American Society of Association Executives as a Certified Association Executive (CAE). Previously, in his role as Managing Director for Contract Documents Products and Services at the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Maan led the product management and ongoing enhancement of AIA Contract Documents software – the industry standard for construction agreements and forms.


Aneesha Mehra

Director, Finance and Administration

Aneesha has been in the finance and accounting industry for over 18 years, and has expertise in a variety of industries. Prior to joining IDEA, she worked in the audit industry, entertainment, advertising, manufacturing, subscription services and pharmaceuticals. She has helped many organizations reach their strategic financial goals through sales growth, strategic planning and her extensive experience with financial planning and analysis as well as accounting. Aneesha graduated from University of Virginia, is a certified public account (CPA) and has an MBA from the University of New York, Stern School of Business.  

Mary Shaw

eBusiness Standards Consultant

Mary has been part of the electrical industry for over 30 years, specializing in eCommerce and data standards development and integration. She facilitates the development and maintenance of electrical industry product data and eCommerce standards via the IDEA Industry Standards Committee and Sub-committees. She was instrumental in updating the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code® (UNSPSC®) category list with electrical industry products, resulting in the development of the Electrical Attribute Schema, which identifies product descriptor attributes for over 5,000 product categories. Prior to her work with the Industry Standards Committee, Mary was heavily involved with EDI and global eCommerce during her 14 years with Panduit Corporation, and Panduit Canada. She was also an active participant in the Electro-Federation Canada E-Commerce Committee in the early ‘90s, was instrumental in the adoption of the EDIPro standards in Canada, and continues to support the Canadian electrical industry's needs globally. Mary is active with NAED, NEMA, and other industry organizations, supporting standards initiatives and representing the US and Canadian electrical industry on global eCommerce committees and working with global organizations like GS1 and ETIM International.

Susan Streich

Director, Strategic Accounts

Susan has over a decade of electrical channel experience and more than 25 years’ experience working with product content and product data analysis. Prior to joining IDEA, Susan was integral to Vista Information Services while working at Epicor (formerly Activant Solutions) and spearheaded the market research project in the electrical industry. In her previous role as Manager, Wholesale Data Services at IDEA, she actively pursued efforts to assist manufacturers in loading product information to the IDW and supported the launch of the Data Certification Program in 2014. Susan has been active in the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) Women in the Industry group for many years and regularly participates in key industry events.

Tom Guzik

Director, Digital Integration Services

Tom brings to IDEA nearly 30 years’ experience working with electronic data interchange (EDI), 20 of which have been in the electrical industry. Prior to joining IDEA, he also worked with SAP systems, inventory control, logistics and warehousing, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Tom also has extensive experience in the analysis, design, development and implementation of a wide variety of business applications within the electrical and specialty chemical manufacturing industry.
