Arlington, VA—IDEA has announced eBiz 2018’s education sessions. 2018 eBiz is the only eBusiness event dedicated to B2B leaders in the electrical supply chain. eBiz attendees are diverse and provide a balanced perspective on key topics in the industry. Nearly a third of eBiz attendees are senior executives. Key job functions also represented include EDI, sales and marketing, information technology, pricing and product managers, data synchronization, and operations.

“The networking opportunities at this event are second to none. I know of nowhere else where you can get a relatively clear vision of where the industry is heading on multiple fronts, not just solely from a technological aspect,” said Kyle Johnson, marketing manager of Viking Electric Supply.

Early bird discounts end on May 31, 2018. To reserve your spot, please fill out the online registration here.

New Thinking: Owner’s Mindset

This year’s keynote speaker, Greg Hawk, will help you unlock an ownership culture. As a veteran real estate investor, Greg uses the analogy of owners and renters to describe attitudes in the workplace. According to Gallup, 30% of workers are owners, 50% are renters, and 20% are vandals. This message reveals the “five distinct differences” between those who are committed to an organization and those who are only biding their time. Hawk’s approach gives new language and a way to think about engagement and productivity at work.

In addition to the keynote addresses, eBiz is offering twelve education sessions, including these highlights:

  • Take Your Data from Good to Great
  • Getting Down to Business: Data Synchronization Pays Off

These sessions are tailored for manufacturers to understand the changes and challenges of data synchronization, and how IDEA can help.

New Products: IDEA Connector and IDEA Exchange

eBiz 2018 will showcase the new IDEA Connector and IDEA Exchange to both manufacturers and distributors. There will be opportunities for manufacturers to learn about how IDEA can work with you to take your data to the next level, making it appealing to trading partners and end users.
