Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) announced the 2014 EFC Scholarship Program earlier this month, an initiative that has helped attract the best and brightest students to the electrical industry for 19 years. Scholarships are awarded to Canadian students pursuing a degree in a discipline which targets a career in the electrical industry such as electrical engineering, industrial distribution and business administration. There are 56 scholarships available this year totaling $113,000 in funds, the highest amount yet.
The IDEA Innovating for the Future eBusiness Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is pursuing a business or IT-related degree and demonstrates leadership potential and interest in learning new technologies and/or business processes that enable innovation. The candidate must have completed their second year of education, with a 80% cumulative average.
- Applicants must be Canadian citizen
- Registered in a full-time eligible post-secondary degree program at a recognized Canadian education institution
- With a minimum 70% average
Applicants may only apply for up to three scholarships. Deadline is May 31st, 2014 at Midnight.
