ARLINGTON, VA – The Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc. (IDEA), the official technology service provider and eBusiness standards body of the electrical industry, today announced that registration is open for the 16th annual IDEA E-Biz Forum – the only eBusiness event dedicated to B2B leaders in the electrical supply chain.

The IDEA E-Biz Forum brings together key electrical supply chain leaders, including senior executives, eBusiness staff, information technology, sales and marketing. This year’s event, themed “Full Steam Ahead: Moving Forward Together,” will be held September 24-26 at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, California.

To make it even easier for attendees to register and connect, IDEA launched a redeveloped E-Biz Forum website (www.idea-ebizforum.com). The new site offers a user-friendly, contemporary design with streamlined registration, agenda and session details, and easy-to-access resources from past Forum events.

“The Forum has great networking opportunities and trading partner interactions. The insightful keynote sessions helped our team to ‘sharpen the saw’ and think outside the box with a renewed perspective,” said Jason Brazeal, PFM Manager, The Reynolds Company.

Greg Verdino, a highly regarded authority on the digital future, will be the opening keynote speaker. Author of microMARKETING: Get Big Results by Thinking and Acting Small, Verdino has served as a go-to expert for media outlets such as BusinessWeek, CNN, the New York Times and Investor’s Business Daily. His presentation at the E-Biz Forum will provide insight into how marketing, IT and industry leaders can collaborate together in a rapidly changing eBusiness economy to build strong companies in the 21st century.

New Topical Tracks Help Teams Integrate and Achieve Goals
This year’s E-Biz Forum brings a new format with tracks centered on topics like: building, promoting and maintaining a web store, and managing product lifecycles. These topical tracks will help attendees in various job functions integrate efforts and successfully achieve project milestones.
