Sherri Thorne Assumes New Position as Director of Business Development

Long-time Employee to Lead Manufacturer Sales for IDEA Connector

Arlington, VA – IDEA has announced that Sherri Thorne, who previously served as Director of Product Content Services, will now transition to Director of Business Development.

In her new role, Thorne will be responsible for new manufacturer sales in the electrical industry and adjacent verticals for IDEA Connector. Thorne played a vital role in the development and implementation of IDEA Connector; she also assembled and trained the customer service team that supports IDEA Connector users.

With her extensive experience, Thorne can help manufacturers successfully navigate eBusiness and product content initiatives to support their supply chains.

Before joining IDEA, Thorne had extensive experience in lighting sales and sales management with Rexel (formerly Branch Electric) out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
