IDEA and ETIM North America Collaborate to Increase ETIM Adoption
IDEA is pleased to be a solution provider that supports the ETIM standard. IDEA is committed to creating, supporting, and enabling the exchange of global data standards for the electrical industry, and we see ETIM as an important addition to our platform for the North American electrical market.
Distributors – Login to IDEA Connector and from the homepage, select Extract Product Data/Excludes. IDEA released two new options to Exclude manufacturer specific Brands and/or Seller Class Codes & Sellers Sub-Class Codes from an extraction file. To learn more about these new features, login to the IDEA Learning Portal and review Managing an Excluded Product List available in the Extracting Product Data Course.
Manufacturers – Login to the IDEA Learning Portal and download the updatedIDEA B-View Flat File Guidelines. This new file contains an updated B1 – Transactional Data Template which includes a new attribute field to identify “Available Services” for your products.
Subscribed Volumetrics Distributors & Manufacturers – Login to the IDEA Learning Portal and download the new IDEA Connector (B4A) Sourced Packaging Extraction Template available in the Resources section of the Sourced Packaging Course.
