IDEA and TradeTech Announce Partnership to Deliver Real-Time Order Tracking
Arlington, VA—The Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc. (IDEA), the industry-owned technology company and leading provider of electrical product data, announces that it has entered into a marketing partnership with software company, TradeTech Solutions, to introduce a new centralized industry portal that will provide real-time order tracking information to authorized distributors and manufacturer’s reps.
Currently, accessing real-time information on orders can be a challenge. A lot of time is wasted in the industry calling and checking on order status with the manufacturer. A centralized portal will save the industry valuable staff time and increase productivity.
The platform, currently called OrdrTrak™, integrates IDEA Connector product data. One important feature is a product submittal solution for the channel. With a trusted product information source, contractors, manufacturer’s representatives, and distributors can create professional singular or multi-product submittals packages.
